Mixpanel

Forward Hober's event stream — message engagement (notification.*) and behavioral events — to your Mixpanel project, so campaign impact shows up in the dashboards your team already reads.

Setup​

  1. Copy your project token from Mixpanel (Project Settings → Access Keys).
  2. In Hober, open Settings → Integrations → Mixpanel → Connect and paste it.
  3. EU data residency: if your Mixpanel project lives in the EU cluster, set eu_residency in the integration settings — events route to api-eu.mixpanel.com.

Behavior​

  • distinct_id is the Hober subscriber id when the actor is identified, falling back to the anonymous id — pre-identify activity still lands under a stable actor.
  • Every event carries $insert_id, so redeliveries deduplicate inside Mixpanel.
  • Forwarding is best-effort and near-real-time; a Mixpanel outage never affects message delivery, and Hober remains the system of record.
